Electronic Trading Group, LLC Import Instructions

PLEASE NOTE: 
In their trade history reports Electronic Trading Group, LLC uses option symbols for option trades rather than option descriptions.  Therefore, when manually entering your open option positions from last tax year, you must enter them using the proper option symbol so that TradeLog™ can properly match them with the closing positions upon import.

General Procedure:

1. Log In to My InfoCenter click on Ticket Information and Ticket Activity.
   
   
    
2. Select Entry Date, enter the desired "From" and "To" dates, and select Account Number.
   Do not select any other fields!
   
   

   Search	Column		Value
   	Entry Date	between	01/01/2004   12/31/2004
   	Account Number	=	your account #

   
    
3. Click on the Save Results to File button. 
   Make sure you save the file with the *.txt file extension in your
   "c:\my documents\TradeLog\import" directory.
   
   
4. Run TradeLog
    
5. Click on the ETG Imp speed button.  A File Open window will appear.
   
   
6. Navigate to the import folder (outlined in Step# 3) and select the file you just downloaded.
   
   
7. Click the OPEN button.  Your trades will be automatically imported and matched.
